Franklin is 30 years old and lives in an urban area of Las Orquídeas (which is so called because there used to be many orchids to be found there), in Guayaquil. He is single and his business activity is selling juices and smoothies.

Franklin started his business some time ago using a cart that belonged to his mom. One day, with some savings that he had, he bought his own cart and, since then, he has enjoyed his business. He works from 6.00am to 3.00pm every day. He sells natural juices for 0.30, different flavored smoothies for 0.60 and tostadas for 0.60 each. With the help of this loan, he would like to buy an industrial toaster, blenders and various fruit so that he can offer a wider variety of products and increase his profits. In the future, he would like to buy a house and a vehicle.
